Job description: We are currently recruiting for a Technical Operator to join the busy team at our Butter Plant based within our Market Drayton site. The role offers an excellent training plan to develop the relevant skills, qualities and career progression opportunities within this top branded UK business. The ideal candidate will have production and technical experience within a fast moving food manufacturing environment. Contract: Full Time/Permanent Starting Salary: £31,684.38 per annum increasing to £37,110.54 once fully trained Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights 7-7) Location: Market Drayton Your Responsibilities: Operating manufacturing machinery in accordance company procedures. A proactive approach to all matters concerning Health & Safety Ability to co-operate with the employer in assisting them to fulfil their statutory duties Meeting operational line / plant targets / waste targets Meeting Individual targets Minimising machine / plant down time Maintaining the hygienic standards of the production environment and general housekeeping of the working area Carrying out of basic routine maintenance (mechanical aptitude is essential) Striving to achieve the highest quality product, highlighting any concerns to your manager Prompt fault finding and timely corrective action or escalation Having a flexible approach to your work arrangements Key skills and experienceRelevant food manufacturing qualification Basic Food Hygiene Relevant Health & Safety Training Chemical Training Mechanical Handling Equipment Technical Processing Plant / Machine Knowledge Continuous improvement techniques Teamwork & Collaboration Good communicatorverbally and written Good mechanical aptitude (Essential)?
