***This role is based in Hull and the Humber - only apply if you can commute to this area daily***About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Technology Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, management, and support of VoIP telephony systems and related communication technologies. This role will involve working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing voice solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain VoIP systems (hosted/Cloud).Provide 2nd/3rd line support for VoIP-related incidents and service requests.Work with customers and suppliers to deliver end-to-end telephony solutions.Implement security best practices for VoIP infrastructure to prevent fraud and vulnerabilities.Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and new project rollouts.Assist in the evaluation of new VoIP technologies and recommend improvements.Skills & Experience To be able to demonstrate industry experience and/or a transferrable skill set.·       Possess an understanding of networking principles and telecommunications protocols.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Desirable Skills & Experience ·      Previous hands-on experience "on the tools," such as pulling cables, installing data outlets, or undertaking similar installation work.·      Possess leadership qualities or have previously worked at Team Leader / senior levelPersonal AttributesCustomer-focused with a proactive approach.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.Willingness to learn and keep up to date with evolving and relevant technologies.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Use of Company vehicle.Laptop, and tools provided.mobile phone allowance.Additional paid leave for Christmas/Birthdays.Inclusive Social events and CSR options.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge telephony technologies with the UK’s leading VoIP network providers.
