Estates Services Contracts Manager

We are currently working in partnership with a reputable Housing Association based in Surrey and London, who are recruiting for two Estates Services Contract Managers on a permanent basis.
The start date is subject to notice. The salary for these positions is £43,087 rising to £45,000 per annum after successful completion of your probation period.
The ideal candidate will drive and have access to their own vehicle, and have proven experience of Estate Contract Management duties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Overseeing the execution and performance of various contracts across estates, including grounds maintenance, playground management, communal cleaning services, tree management, pest control, and bulk refuse collection
- Ensuring contract compliance, managing any contractual issues that arise, and maintaining awareness of related contracts such as JCT, framework, and procurement guidelines
- Managing service charges for the contracts, ensuring transparency and value for money for our residents, including preparing and presenting detailed reports on contract costs, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost-saving measures
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and collection of service charges and address any resident queries or concerns
- Reviewing contract terms and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible prices, without compromising on the quality of services
- Conducting regular audits to ensure that all contracted services are delivered to the
- highest standards as well as understanding and monitoring KPIs
- Using data insights to optimise outcomes and ensure smooth operations and managing and supporting staff to deliver services focused on estate services/contract management
Experience required:
- Contract Management experience
- Social housing experience
- Prior experience leading and managing teams, projects, and budgets
- Proven experience of development and execution of strategic plans
- Stakeholder liaison experience—from residents to community groups to local authorities
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Qualification in Health & Safety Management (IOSH or NEBOSH)
- Qualifications in the safe use of grounds maintenance machinery and equipment
