With clients including well-known Tour Operators, you will be dealing with all post-booking queries over the phone & online chat, this role is hybrid (Manchester office) and has great sociable working hours 0900-1730 Mon-Fri, with a rota for 1 in 3 Saturdays. If you work in the Travel Industry with proven administration and customer service skills this could be your next role Starting salary £23k - £25k pa dependent on experience
Key Duties:
- Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Resolve issues with bookings, refunds, and travel arrangements with empathy and efficiency.
- Assist customers in planning and booking travel, including flights, accommodations, and activities.
- Provide travel advice and recommendations based on customers' preferences and needs.
- Manage and maintain customer records and transactions.
- Collaborate with partners and suppliers to resolve any service issues.
- Monitor and report on feedback to improve the company's services and customer satisfaction.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the travel industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems and software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress well.
- Proactive and conscientious with an eye for detail
- The ability to deal with confrontation and expertise in issue resolution.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
