Quality Engineer Salary is £30-£32,000 per annum - based in Gillingham, Kent. Days role working Mon to Fri (early finish on Fri) - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Onsite parking, employee welfare scheme. Permanent position. Our client are a well established and renowned engineering company and due to ongoing success they are looking for a Quality Engineer to join them, based at their Gillingham site in Kent. Reporting to the Operations Manager this is a new role within their organisation - this is a stand alone role but will involve working with Inspectors and other shop floor staff. Duties of the Quality Engineer will involve: Developing and maintaining quality procedures Conducting audits to ensure compliance Goods-In inspection Liaising with Sales team to resolve customer issues Implementing corrective and preventative actions Maintaining accurate quality records Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business Ensuring calibration of quality control equipment Carrying out internal audits, ensuring procedures meet both internal and external standards Reviewing and approving documentation related to manufacturing and packaging (SOPs and RAs) Ongoing development of the QMS in line with continuous improvement programme Leading & supporting customer and regulatory audits (including BS audits) The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: HND or similar in an ...
