Apply now and be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team at CauridorWHERE: Open to Germany, UK, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy.Your Impact ZoneResponsible for writing the web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers.Lead integrations of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.Manage the hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changesDevelop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codesConduct UI tests and optimize performance and troubleshoot and debug applications.Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.Your Toolkit for the RoleMinimum of +10 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer (PHP and Laravel programming languages)Experience with SQL, MySLQVersion control, such as Git, CVS, or SVNKnowledge of SOAP and REST web servicesAbility to project manage.Growth mindset that challenges the status quo and focuses on outside-the-box ideas and solutions________________________________________Who We AreWe are a Fintech company on a mission to accelerate the digitization of the financial industry in Africa and empower the unbanked.
