Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Eye, Suffolk

Pay: £11.44 Per Hour

Contract Details: Temp To Perm, full-time, Monday - Friday, 08:00AM - 16:45PM

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately pick and pack products for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods, checking for quality and accuracy
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts (must have in date licenses) pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  • Participate in periodic inventory counts
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred, but not essential
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Proficient in using warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training will be provided if needed)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
