We are pleased to be working with one of the most progressive insurance networks operating in the UK today.
They have created 2 new File Auditors roles where you will based in their regional office in Newcastle/Gateshead.
**Please note, they will consider candidates from entry/trainee level or with individuals with some compliance/auditing experience**
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
This would be working closely with the Audit & Compliance Manager. The File Auditor’s primary focus is to make sure that all staff within the company, the Network and Appointed Representatives work within regulatory guidelines and best practices set out by the FCA and that support is provided to everyone.
Initially you will be required to be in the office 5 days a week, although this could be reduced once you are fully up to speed and are comfortable with the role and responsibilies.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes all audits on every area of the business
- Creates reports as feedback enabling compliance to be filtered through to all parts
- Create processes to make sure the customer journey is as smooth as possible
- Other duties as assigned from time to time
- Manage expressions of dissatisfaction and complaints before they have to be escalated.
- Lead by example
- Support staff to build relationships with the brokers encouraging open, regular meetings.
BUSINESS/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
- Experience working within a regulated environment and with full understanding of the principles of TCF and Insurance Practice
REQUIRED SKILLS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of professional and industry standards and practices
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Solid technical ability to identify, create and present data
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic; able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team
- Customer service focused, with a high degree of professionalism
Dependent on experience, the basic salary is from £21K to £28k with excellent additional staff benefits.
