This is your opportunity to lead impactful projects that help protect communities and enable national security while advancing your own career in a dynamic future-focused environment.Day-to-day youll be required to:Lead the planning execution and delivery of IT projects across all Babcock sectorsTrack key project milestones and adjust plans to meet evolving business needsMaintain full project documentation in line with Babcocks IT Project Management ProcessCoordinate communication across stakeholders to manage scope budget risk and resourcesEnsure through-life support is embedded in all new business system solutionsThis role is full time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times between 07:30 and 18:00. Your contractual location will be the closest Babcock hub to your home and occasional travel to other sites including overnight stays will be requiredEssential experience of the IT Project Manager:Proven experience managing software application projects using structured methodologiesStrong understanding of the Applications Lifecycle Management (ALM) processExperience managing both in-house development teams and third-party suppliersProficiency with Microsoft Project (Project Server preferred)Track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget in complex environmentsQualifications for the IT Project Manager:Certified Scrum Master Agile certified or equivalentProject Management certification such as PRINCE2 APM or equivalentSecurity ClearanceThe successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
