Human Factors Engineer

CK Group are recruiting for a Human Factors Engineer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. Salary: Up to 23.39 per hour PAYE or 26.21 per hour Umbrella Human Factors Engineer Role:Provide device usability input/support to device design inputs and human factors study feedback and/or recommended mitigation actions into the design group and external device design authoritiesTo work with our clients drug product teams external design companies and human factors vendors in developing and ensuring timely execution of human factors engineering deliverables including project managing and testing of materials for use in HF studiesAssist in the generation of human factors regulatory documentation associated with our clients devicesWill manage and document use-related risk related to assigned projectsAssist in the generation of human factors regulatory documentation associated with our clients devicesYour Background:Experience with Human Factors Engineering ideally for combination products with devicesExcellent project/time management skillsExcellent IT skills essential - PC literate (rather than Macintosh) with good experience with typical Microsoft Office applications including MS PowerPointMinimum 3 years relevant experienceAppreciation for pharmaceutical/medical device regulatory requirementsBackground in a medical field (desirable)Company: Our client is one of the worlds premier innovative biopharmaceutical companies discovering developing and providing over 160 different medicines vaccines and consumer healthcare products to help improve the lives of millions of people in the UK and around the world every year.
