Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Northamptonshire Salary / Pay Rate: £40k - £45k p/a Shift / Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am - 5pm / Friday 8am - 2pm About the Company My client is a UK-based leader in high-precision engineering and CNC machining, renowned for delivering components within the aerospace, motorsport, medical, defence, and electric vehicles industry. The Role You will play a key role in ensuring the compliance of both purchased and internally manufactured components. This role is responsible for generating, managing, and maintaining key quality documentation and supporting robust quality processes to ensure products meet customer and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in quality systems, problem-solving, and hands-on measurement techniques within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Produce and maintain quality documentation for new and existing projects in line with customer requirements. Create templates and ensure all documentation is properly linked, correlated, and stored within existing quality systems. Generate inspection reports Prepare documentation such as: 8D Reports / Control Plans / Process Flow Charts Lead the resolution of quality issues arising during production, supporting manufacturing teams in process adherence.
