DescriptionThe Service & Team:Cornwall Councils Disabled Childrens Team provides support to children and young people with a wide range of disabilities and complex needs. We are a friendly multi-disciplinary service that works closely with families schools and health colleagues to promote independence participation and wellbeing. You will be joining an experienced and supportive group of professionals who are committed to delivering high-quality child-centred care.The Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic Band 5 Occupational Therapist to assess and support disabled children and young people across Mid Cornwall. Your role will include recommending specialist equipment and adaptations which enabling children to achieve their goals in daily life at home and in school.You will be encouraged to develop your professional skills with structured supervision and opportunities for training in specialist areas of paediatric occupational therapy.This is a public/customer-facing role where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.This position will be subject to a enhanced criminal record disclosure check.Working Pattern:This is a permanent full-time role (37.5 hours per week) working five days (Monday to Friday) per week. The role is based in Mid Cornwall with travel across this part of the county to visit families schools and partner services as required.
