Our client, a well-known household brand is seeking a Senior Regulatory Lawyer on a permanent basis.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join an in-house legal team where your role will be pivotal in leading the company’s compliance function, alongside driving their organisational performance.

 

The role:

 

  • You will act as the SME on day-to-day health & safety, food safety, and general regulatory and compliance matters.
  • You will undertake audits on the company processes, practices, and internal guidelines to identify any risk/threat areas.
  • You will lead on regulation updates and legislative changes and will work with the company to ensure compliance.
  • You will ensure compliance across operations, supply chains, and stores.
  • You will lead on key projects within the company with a focus on risk and compliance.

 

The candidate:

 

  • Qualified Lawyer- UK or commonwealth experience
  • Previous experience in regulatory/compliance/health and safety. It is essential you have food safety law experience.
  • In house experience advantageous.
  • Strong report writing skills to produce reports/user guidance notes etc.

 

Our client operates a hybrid working policy. You will need to be able to attend the office 3 days per week with 2 days working from home.

 

We are only able to consider candidates with specific food safety law risk and compliance experience.
