Fan Experience Manager:


Our client, a global sports championship, is seeking an exceptional Fan Experience Manager to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and strategic individual to redefine fan and VIP experiences at sports events across the globe.


The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in executing the event and fan experience strategy, ensuring attendees leave with a positive and memorable impression of the event.

Positioning the events as must attend events in the sporting calendar.


This role requires a high level of creativity as you’ll be designing and implementing fan experiences for each of their events around the world.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define fan experiences at each event and lead on execution of the event experience strategy which positions the as a must-attend event in the sporting calendar.


  • Conceptualise and execute experiential activations that wow event attendees.


  • Stay abreast of innovation and creative opportunities by reviewing what other sports, music and entertainment properties are doing to maximise fan experience.


  • Ensure that the on-site fan engagement strategy aligns with the brand identity.


  • Manage the end-to-end event experience planning process, including budgeting, supplier management and on-site execution.


  • Work closely with the operations team to deliver fan experiences.


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Experience in live sporting event planning.


  • Experience conceptualising amazing event and fan experiences.


  • Creative mindset


  • Appreciation of event experiences across the sporting calendar


  • Able to work independently but values working collaboratively as part of a team


  • Works effectively and enjoys a fast-paced environment


  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across multiple departments


  • Direct experience of post event reporting and recommendations


Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects at different stages of their lifecycle


Due to the global nature of the role, candidates will be expected to travel to at least 8-10 events per year. With each event, you will typically be away for 4-5 days.
