DescriptionMake a Real Impact as a KS3 English and Maths Tutor.Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students with SEND or SEHM needs We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors to join our tutor database. Youll provide personalised 1:1 support for Primary or Secondary students. These in-person sessions in Hackney offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.This job is in-person in HackneyDay(s): Monday - Friday // FlexibleTime(s): During school hoursLevel: Primary and SecondaryStart date: Throughout the academic yearWhat Youll Do:Deliver up to 15 hours of tutoring per week with sessions split across the school dayPlan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each studentProvide targeted support for students with SEND and/or SEMH needsAssess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environmentMonitor progress produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomesRequirementsWere looking for someone who has:A Bachelors degree2 years of tutoring / teaching experienceExperience working with students with SEN and/or SEMH needsAn ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe right to be self employed in the UKBenefitsWhat We Offer:A friendly dynamic team that values collaboration and personal growthThe opportunity to make a difference in the lives of studentsCompetitive hourly rate: 30 - 35 per hour depending on role and experienceAbout Tutors GreenOur mission is to provide first-class tuition primarily for disadvantaged students through discounted and pro-bono services across the UK.
