CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities: Setting and Operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Milling machines using FANUC/Heidenhain controls. Performing First-Off Inspection by accurately reading engineering drawings. Running proven programmes, adjusting tool and work offsets, and making minor program edits. Preparing tooling and fixtures, applying scheduled machine maintenance, and adhering to 5S principles. Ensuring the quality and output of components meets agreed production schedules and specifications.
