VP of Licensing

Forsyth Barnes are delighted to once again being retained by one of the largest governing bodies in the world of sport who are seeking a Vice President of Licensing. The VP of Licensing will be responsible for implementing the Licensing strategy. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, identifying licensing partners, and executing agreements. In close alignment with the Brand & Marketing team, you will work on reinforcing the brand position and reach through newly launched Licensing programs.
Together with the Sales & Business Development team, you will also be responsible for creating new commercial opportunities and managing partners.
Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will be focused on driving collective and individual revenue goals through teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.
The VP will oversee the administration of contracts, stay attuned to market trends, identify new opportunities, and optimize current initiatives, ensuring the brand remains competitive and relevant.
The VP will work closely with licensees, agencies, and internal Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing departments to create and execute integrated partner marketing programs throughout the year.
Qualifications and Skills:- Minimum of 10 years experience in Licensing programs management with a governing body, sports marketing agency, team, or event.
- Experienced in contract negotiation.
- Experience in digital asset packaging, development, pricing, reporting, tracking, and optimization.
- Experience in Brand management and multi-channel Marketing campaigns.
- Experience in planning, tracking, and reporting commercial ROI figures to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce and B2C platforms.
- Strong teamwork skills and flexible attitude.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, as well as strong planning and time management.
