As a Financial Accounting Assistant at Haven, you’ll support the Financial Accounting Manager in ensuring the business operates within robust accounting standards and policies. What this role will involve day to day:

  • Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, providing clarity on key movements.
  • Preparing financial statements and supporting external audit processes.
  • Monitoring daily cash positions and preparing weekly cash flow reports.
  • Assisting with cash flow budgeting and handling money market deposits and loan drawdowns.
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Managing inter-company recharges and tracking service charge accounts.
  • Supporting the implementation of financial systems and internal controls.
  • Engaging in ad hoc cash and banking tasks as needed.


What we’d like you to bring:

  • A solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (part-qualified) or a degree in finance, accounting, or business.
  • A desire to learn and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.
  • Strong numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication abilities, working with both internal teams and external advisors.
  • An aptitude for implementing internal controls and managing multiple priorities.
