AssistantBuyer Job Purpose:
The Assistant Buyer will support the Senior Buyer & Buyer in sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory to meet the needs of the organisation.
This role involves assisting with supplier negotiations, order placement, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
The Assistant Buyer will also help maintain records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
AssistantBuyer Experience and Qualifications:
- Good solid education English, Math & IT.
- Previous experience in a procurement or administrative role is preferred.
- Experience in the specific relevant industry Manufacturing or Engineering
- Basic understanding of market research, data analysis, and purchasing principles.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate.
- Ability to work autonomously, using own initiative.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task and time-management skills.
- The ability to build effective collaborative working relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
