Key Responsibilities for the Marine Engineer: Provide onsite engineering support to Police Launches and RIBs within Portsmouth Dockyard. Maintain and repair vessels to the highest standards, taking responsibility for quality of work. Assist with various tasks as required across different trades. Occasionally work at Gosport Yards or other UK sites on military vessels. Undertake overtime when necessary. Complete necessary DBS checks to gain Dockyard access. Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Essential Skills & Qualifications for the Marine Engineer: Marine Engineering experience with relevant qualifications. Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and organisational skills. Flexible, practical, and able to work both independently and in a team. Full UK driving licence.
