The Job Mission:This is a full-time five-day on-site position at Hinkley Point C in Somerset. Relocation assistance is available for candidates within commutable distance. Youll be part of the Fire Safety team advising on standards performing audits and promoting a strong fire safety culture across contractors and site teams.Key Responsibilities: Provide expert fire-safety advice to contractors and stakeholders Review and develop fire-safety management arrangements and policies Conduct fire-safety audits and inspections across construction areas Collaborate with project and design teams on fire-safety strategies Investigate fire incidents and report findings for continuous improvement Carry out and review fire-risk and DSEAR assessments Support contractor engagement to improve site fire-safety performance Qualifications : Skills and Experience: NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Level 3 (or higher) Proven fire-safety experience within the construction industry Strong knowledge of fire-safety systems and UK legislation Experience conducting fire-risk assessments and compliance audits Understanding of process-fire and DSEAR-related risks Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple work fronts effectively Additional Information : Join your future team at Assystem and play a key role in ensuring world-class fire safety standards on one of the UKs most important clean-energy projects.
