Hays are currently looking for experienced Senior Analysts to join a growing data & Insights division at one of the biggest public sector organisations in the Northwest. Reporting directly to the Director of Data & Insight, you will manage the data performance platform across the organisation to evaluate customer performance.


Main responsibilities:

  1. Act as one the team’s primary data reporters: extraction, manipulation, analysis and presentation of organisational data that exits within the Data Warehouse, with a focus of customer satisfaction/ needs.
  2. Contribute to the organisations ongoing data governance strategy, consider data quality, verification and integrity in all work.
  3. Line manages a small team of data & information analysts by directing work and considering staff development and recruitment where necessary.


Essential Skills required:

  1. Experience of dealing with large databases. Extraction and manipulation of this data using IT Packages.
  2. Skilled SSRS report writer with the ability to write T-SQL queries, advanced user of Microsoft Excel, confident in using SharePoint and libraries.
  3. Advanced user of SQL for data manipulation & Extraction.
  4. Expert in the use of data visualisation packages and business intelligence software such as Power BI and Tableau.
  5. Experience of working with multiple different steak holders across a business to deliver analytical/ visualisation projects.
