Process Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join their team, reporting directly to the Managing Director of their engineering division. The Senior Process Safety Engineer will play a key role in ensuring legislative compliance on FEED and EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in British and International standards and best practices for process safety engineering, and capable of working collaboratively with other disciplines within a project office environment. Responsibilities will include developing technical safety work scopes and contributing to project safety assessments.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Extensive engineering experience in the process industry, particularly in Oil & Gas and/or Chemicals.
- Experience in conducting safety evaluations and hazard analysis.
- Proficiency in consequence modelling using DNVGL PHAST.
- Knowledge of Hazardous Area Assessment according to EI Part 15, BS EN 60079 Part 10, and IGEM/SR/25.
- Ability to produce high-quality engineering documents, including proposals, terms of reference, HAZOP reports, LOPA reports, and safety assessment reports.
