Our client is one of the leading Financial Services businesses in the UK across Insurance, Investment, Pensions, Asset management. They are embarking on one of the highest profile digital transformations in their market from top to bottom in their business. Their journey is ambitious and are cited as one of the most supportive working cultures in the country.


As part of a new era of Agile and digital senior leadership joining the business, they are seeking a Principal Architect to own and lead the CRM digital architecture strategy for their customer engagement services (which is significant). They are moving to a product/platform model and this role sits as a principal owner for the CRM architecture.


This is a role that will be impact and be experienced by their millions of customers as well as their business. As such it requires someone with a background and specialism in CRM Customer Relationship management technology architecture strategy, governance and digital transformation.


You will own the D365 / Dynamics 365 architecture strategy and transformation for their entire sales, marketing and customer functions and be instrumental in shaping and leading the team.


Must haves:

  • CRM platform Architecture track record
  • Microsoft D365 / Dynamics 365 (sales & marketing, servicing and communications)
  • Workflow systems
  • modernising customer communications
  • Architecture governance, architecture strategy and team management
  • You will have led at Principal level similar programmes of CRM platform / D365 architecture change initiatives
  • High commercial awareness (e.g. Total Cost of Ownership, commerciality and sales function understanding, etc)
  • Commercial stakeholder management as well as technology stakeholder management
  • risk management
  • Strong people skills are critical along with high EQ
  • UK right to work (not sponsored)


You don't necessarily need FS background (though an advantage), but you do require large scale CRM architecture strategy and governance in your background to best meet the demands of the business (e.g. large retail, telco, etc)
