We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Knowsley to assist with the appointment of a Revenue and Benefits Officer on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: 17.40 - 22.21 per hour Responsibilities:Process and maintain accurate information using relevant data input systems (e.g. NEC Solutions NEC Enterprise Doc Management Oracle Financials Microsoft Office).Apply up-to-date knowledge of Council Tax Housing Benefit Sundry Debtors Adult Social Care charging principles and welfare benefits.Provide excellent customer care when dealing with enquiries from residents and stakeholders.Prioritise workload meet targets and adapt to changing service demands.Ensure compliance with Data Protection and Data Security principles. Requirements:Minimum of 2 years experience processing information using data input systems relevant to the Exchequer Service.Good working knowledge of Council Tax Housing Benefit welfare benefits and related processes.Strong literacy and numeracy skills.Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to self-motivate and prioritise workload.Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
