This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Paralegal or Senior Paralegal to join a highly reputable and dynamic firm on a full time, permanent basis, this role can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

This is a great opportunity to join a well respected brand where you will be given the autonomy to manage your own clients and caseload.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with a broad range of private client work
  • Preparing wills
  • Dealing with the administration of executries including high value taxable estates
  • Preparing power of attorney
  • Managing the administration of trusts
  • Taking ownership of your own files and delivery a high level of service at all times
  • Develop client relationships
  • Manage your own case load
  • Work closely with clients and take their instruction
  • Prepare wills and powers of attorney
  • Advise and communicate with your clients at each stage
  • Ensuring the protection of clients remains paramount, whilst taking precautions against any fraud and money laundering
  • Drafting, collating and sending supporting legal financial documentation
  • Complete all associated administration for confirmation


To be considered for this opportunity, our client is looking for the following background and/or experience:

  • Previous experience working as part of a Private Client Department
  • Ability to manage your own cases
  • Proactive, confident and a great communicator
  • Enjoy working as part of a wider team
  • Organised with the ability to think ahead and plan
  • Confident dealing with people over the phone and face to face
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems
