Role Overview

ABASK is seeking an Application & IT Support Analyst to join the Tech team to provide IT support and Application support assistance for internal business teams and wider business processes. The role will centre around supporting ABASK’s ERP system (D365 Business Central) but will cover other applications and systems. Operationally, the role will help to ensure systems are meeting expected SLA’s and are functioning correctly (monitoring and observability) and thus will have an operational focus. Support activity will be diverse from user management and desktop support to management of ERP configuration to troubleshooting and fixing errors and data anomalies (including order management and inventory management support). The role will provide an opportunity to grow technical development skills with Business Central through to Power Platform and/or cloud services in Azure (e.g. Integrations or BI Analytics and Reporting). 

 

Key Responsibilities 

•       1st line support for all IT and Application responses from the users across the business. 

•       Desktop support, access (role-based security config) and user management, and Microsoft365 admin support. 

•       Support development 

•       Expand skills and development and analytical experience supporting development and delivery activity within Business Central, Integrations, Analytics (BI) or wider cloud administration and configuration (including security). 

•       Collaborate with business teams (e.g. Logistics, Buying, Merchandising, Finance) for end user testing, training and operational system use. 

•       Any other duties as required or assigned, in line with the business needs and evolution. 

                                                                                        


 

The Candidate
  • Experienced IT or Application support analyst familiar with working in a first or second line support role.  
  • Experienced in working with and supporting an ERP system (Business Central experience a plus). 
  • Technically minded and persistent trouble-shooter, hungry to grow and develop new skills.  
  • Familiar with user management and managing configurations. 
  • Comfortable supporting desktops (PCs, Macs, Microsoft Office suite, etc) 
  • Desirable - exposure / experience working in Retail. 
  • Desirable – Any experience working with Active Directory and broader administration of MS365. 
  • Desirable – Any experience using cloud services (Azure preferrable), Power Platform stack (PowerApps, PowerBI, etc) and/or broader software development practices. 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, excited to join an early-stage project and ready to take it from start-up to scale-up.
