Assembly Lead / Assembly / Northampton / Commercial Airline

We are delighted to be working with one of the UKs leading and fastest growing manufactures within the commercial airline sector. We are looking for an assembly Lead to support with the production operations and train the production teams to build and assemble the products

Main duties and responsibilities of an Assembly Lead:

  • To adhere to all production documentation, instructions and drawings detailing the correct method of production
  • To support and train the production teams new starters on the production line to enable them to build and assemble the Companys products to the required quality standards and at the required tact times
  • To perform upskilling of production teams when requested
  • To routinely check the quality of Assembly Operator output and ensure productivity levels across Assembly Operators remain consistently high to enable the Production Plan to be met
  • To be the first port of call on the line for Assembly Operator requests for direction on assembly or quality
