Join us in making a definitive impact on the future of energy.This role in a nutshell:Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager you will play an integral part in providing an effective Risk and Controls function. As Risk Manager you would be working to ensure risk management is in place and embedded across OVO in particular you will support colleagues in our Finance teams and our Energy Markets & Optimisation teams which supports our Energy Trading activities as well as other OVO teams as needed to understand and help manage their risks.Your key outcomes will be:partnering with leaders to deliver risk management services across OVOworking with team members across OVO to support and embed risk management;facilitating the identification analysis and evaluation of risk;providing advice to Risk Owners on the suitability of controls key risk indicators and key control indicators;being responsible for ongoing monitoring of risks against the Risk Appetite set by the OVO senior team;assisting the periodic review of the Principal Risks and Risk Appetite for OVO.producing value-adding reporting on risk to ensure stakeholders at all levels can make informed decisions;supporting the development of a culture within OVO that understands risk and enables risk-based decision making.Youll be a successful Risk Manager at OVO if youhave a passion for risk management and a desire to ensure risk is understood and appropriately controlled.use your ability to work cooperatively within OVO to embed risk management into day-to-day decision making.have experience of delivering high value and quality outputs.are experienced leading risk management in a regulated sector sound understanding of risk management principles and techniques;have experience of working in either a Finance or Energy trading risk management role;have a recognised professional qualification in risk management;have strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders;are resilient in character with strong ethical values and the determination to get it right.Lets talk about whats in it for youWell pay you between 49000 and 65000 depending on your specific skills and experience.We keep our pay ranges broad on purpose to give us and you flexibility to match your experience to our zero carbon mission.Youll be eligible for an on-target bonus of 15%.
