Job DescriptionBank Admin AssistantThe RoleAs the Private Patient Administrator you will provide administrative support to the Private Patient Manager and include direct customer contact to facilitate the private patient journey ensuring delivery of excellent customer service and growth in private patient volumes. This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients consultants and all hospital departments.We need an individual with a professional approach excellent verbal communication skills initiative and the ability to work within a team. You must be computer literate experience with Word and Outlook being essential. Previous use of an Electronic Patient Record system would be an advantage.We are looking for the successful candidate to join us on a Bank contract working hours available: Monday 10am-6pm Thursday 10am-6pm and Saturday 9am -1pm.High-level duties include:Handle all enquiries and book appointments via telephone email or social mediaProvide detailed information to patient enquiries whilst delivering excellent customer serviceBuild and maintain excellent relationships with internal hospital teams consultants medical secretaries and external stakeholders to ensure appointments are convertedMaintain contact with potential patients to ensure they are satisfied with the progress of their enquiryScanning & auditing of patient informationWhat youll bring with youProven track record of achieving targets whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer serviceAn excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & ExcelThe ability to work under pressure whilst remaining patient/ consumer focusedExperience working in a private healthcare setting is preferredGood attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to make decisions and use your initiativeA flexible and positive attitudeBenefitsEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree onsite parking and a subsidised staff restaurantFree uniformFree DBS checkingWhat is a Bank Contract:A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week.
