We're looking for an Implementation Engineer to join our Operations team at Swan Retail/EPOS Bureau. This is a key customer-facing role where youll help deliver hardware and software setups, configure systems, and make sure our retail and hospitality customers get a seamless, stress-free onboarding experience. No two days are the same. One day youll be configuring servers or staging hardware, and the next you may be on-site ensuring a smooth installation. If youre technically minded, organised, and eager to learn, youll fit right in. What youll be doingCarrying out a mix of hardware setup, configuration, and software installationSupporting both internal teams and external clients with implementation queriesManaging your own workload and completing tasks within agreed timeframesDocumenting processes and maintaining accurate implementation recordsConfiguring new hardware, staging equipment, and updating handover documentsVisiting client sites to install hardware when requiredCollaborating closely with the wider Ops team and helping the Helpdesk when neededEnsuring your workspace and our equipment stays clean, organised, and installation-readyWhat were looking forEssential Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyClear, confident communication skillsGood technical understanding of PCs and ideally EPOS hardwareExperience installing software and following technical processesHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skillsA team player with a positive, proactive attitudeDesirable Previous experience in an Implementations or Technical Installation roleExperience in the retail or hospitality sectorKnowledge of Windows Desktop and ServerUnderstanding of routers, switches, and basic firewall configurationFamiliarity with modern networking protocols and operating systemsWhat youll bringReliability, good timekeeping, and a strong sense of ownershipConfidence working with customersFlexibility, curiosity, and a willingness to learnThe ability to stay calm, focused, and accurate, even when things get busyWhy join ClearCourse?At ClearCourse, were building a brilliant environment for people who want to grow.
