Biomedical Scientist in BiochemistryBanding: Band 6Location: NorthamptonStart Date: ASAPDuration: OngoingWorking Pattern: 30 hours a week Core hours initially during training then night shiftsHourly Rate: 25-27 Umbrella equivalent via the trust DE modelWe are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our clients team in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time ongoing position working core hours and night shifts offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry endocrinology and toxicology using automated platforms. You will ensure accurate results and maintain quality standards.Qualifications and Experience- HCPC registration- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent- Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory- Experience with automated chemistry analysers- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities- NHS experience (preferred)Why Work with PulseFrom the moment you register with Pulse our focus is entirely on you.
