Sage is excited to partner with Career Returners to offer a supported hiring opportunity in their Global Security team. The team are seeking a confident and effective Project Manager to lead the delivery of cyber security projects from start to finish, and welcome returners to apply for this permanent open role. A successful returner candidate, who has had a career break of 12 months or more (as of December 2025) will receive coaching support through the transition period from Career Returners. Your career break may have been for childcare, eldercare, relocation or other reasons. You may have been working on a small-scale basis to fit around other commitments or not done any paid work for several years. About the Role The team are responsible for the end-to-end delivery of security projects that align with strategic business goals. You will manage multiple workstreams, guide cross-functional teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high standard. *As per the Sage hybrid work arrangement, you will be required to work out of the Winnersh office 3 days per week. * What will you be involved in? Leading cyber security projects with a focus on delivering outcomes on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Managing risks, issues, and changes while keeping projects aligned with wider business and security goals. Collaborating with the Programme Manager and other Project Managers to ensure smooth coordination across initiatives. Overseeing and coordinating multiple concurrent projects, ensuring seamless delivery across workstreams while managing diverse stakeholder groups and fostering strong, collaborative relationships at all levels. Supporting governance activities by producing clear, insightful reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders. What is Sage looking for? Proven experience in designing and delivering complex projects, particularly those with a technical or security focus. Skilled in governance, risk management, and producing clear, insightful reports. Confident using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Loop to support delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across global dispersed and decentralised teams. Excellent written and verbal communication, with advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills to support high-quality executive-level reporting. What's in it for you?
