Position Overview

The Integration and Deployment Management team is responsible for rationalizing the delivery of Products and Technology Infrastructure working closely with Development, Trading, Infrastructure, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Support teams. This team strives to develop deep understanding of Front to Back trading flows, Trading Infrastructure, research data sourcing frameworks and microservices architecture to manage delivery of these services to production and research environments. The team also works as a gatekeeper of scheduled changes to these environments and owns the Change Management workflow.


The main responsibilities include:


  • Act as an integration specialist with the ability to assess impact and facilitate deployment of changes to any component into the production environment.
  • Project manage large scale firm wide roll outs of applications which are pre-tested functionally in a pilot mode.
  • Production pipe cleaning orders coordination and support to trading and operations.
  • Gatekeeping of production environment by constantly managing the decommissioning of legacy hardware and applications.
  • Orchestrating the schedule of inter dependent changes including coordination with external counterparties (brokers, trading venues).
  • Review and approve technology changes as a member of Change Advisory Board.
  • Change impact assessment and ensure transparency to impacted parties.
  • Provide post release support for application changes by working with development teams.
  • Develop and document go live workflows and checklists.
  • Develop tools to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Knowledge sharing of new trading flows with Trade Flow Support Team.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Good understanding of software/hardware concepts, software development life cycle and processes around them
  • Proficient in Linux OS
  • Proficiency with Bash and any scripting language such as Python
  • Experience in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL)
  • Experience with the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
  • Working knowledge of one or more financial products such as Cash Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, Currencies, Commodities, FX.
  • Working knowledge of Change Management Process


Nice to have:

  • ITIL know how or certification.
  • Knowledge of FIX Protocol
  • Working knowledge of TCP, UDP networking protocols
  • Experience working with data pipelines or microservices management platform.
