Our residents are at the heart of everything we do, taking part in a wide range of activities and being actively involved in their local community. Supporting up to 21 residents with complex needs, primarily those with cerebral palsy and learning disabilities. This part-time role offers flexible hours across the week, focusing on delivering engaging activities both on-site and in the community. You will work closely with a small team to reinvigorate the activities program, bringing creativity and energy to enhance residents' quality of life. Your working hours Part time20 hours per week. Ideally we are looking for an Activities Worker to work 7 hours on both Wednesday and Thursday, with the remaining 6 hours on any other day - however we remain flexible and are happy to discuss alternative arrangements. What youll do Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive social and recreational activities Support residents to explore their interests and take part in community life Organise outings, events, and creative sessions that encourage participation and fun Work closely with individuals who are non-verbal and use wheelchairs, ensuring every activity is accessible and enjoyable Bring a flexible, caring, and person-centred approach to everything you do What helps you shine here Previous experience as an Activities Worker is essential.
