Our client, a growing business, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and oversee the accounts receivable processes, ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintain accurate financial records. This role is crucial in supporting our economic health and customer relationships.
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be :
- Accounts Receivables Management: Manage the accounts receivable process, from issuing invoices and tracking payments to reconciling accounts.
- Billing Accuracy: Ensure timely and accurate billing to customers, follow up on overdue invoices and manage collections activities.
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly accounts receivable ageing reports, assisting with month-end closing activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes, maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent client support regarding their accounts, process customer payments, and allocate them correctly.
- Credit Control and Collections: Follow up on overdue invoices, manage collections activities, and develop credit strategies to improve and reduce overdue receivables.
- Policy Development: Assist in developing and improving accounts receivable policies and procedures.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or similar role, with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, handling disputes professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred but not required.
