My client are a niche, specialist company looking for a Junior Buyer / Expediter to join their busy team.

Reporting to the office manager you will be responsible for management of assigned pre-purchase enquires from obtaining supplier quotation through to purchase order and delivery to the end user. Other duties will include:

  • Maintain accurate and clear records ensuring activity tracking and demonstrating methodology
  • Ensure on time delivery
  • Purchase order progress monitoring and updating
  • Monitoring and tracking daily/weekly supplier deliveries to shippers in UK, USA or direct from country of origin to point of delivery
  • Identifying alternative suppliers for engineering

Experience needed:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Strong admin skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Working hours:

  • Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
