The firm has long supported clients across the UK with civil and structural engineering environmental design and sustainable drainage solutions. Known for delivering practical high-quality and innovative outcomes the consultancy works on projects ranging from small developments to large-scale infrastructure and resilience-focused schemes.The RoleThe Flood Risk Consultant will support the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) surface water drainage strategies hydraulic modelling tasks and technical reporting. Working within a collaborative team of engineers and environmental specialists the role offers hands-on involvement across a wide variety of projects.Key Responsibilities:Preparing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments and surface water drainage strategiesAssisting with hydraulic modelling and drainage design (training provided as needed)Analysing hydrological data producing mapping and writing technical reportsLiaising with clients local authorities and statutory consulteesSupporting sustainable climate-resilient water management solutionsContributing to flood risk and drainage input within wider engineering and planning projectsPerson Specification:13 years experience in flood risk water engineering drainage or a related areaDegree in Civil Engineering Environmental Science Geography or similar disciplineUnderstanding of flood risk policy planning guidance and SuDS principlesExperience with GIS software (e.g. QGIS ArcGIS) desirableStrong written analytical and communication skillsProactive organised and keen to grow in a supportive multi-disciplinary environmentWhats on Offer: salary depending on experienceHybrid working with part-week presence in the Cardiff officeProfessional development training and support toward specialist progressionInvolvement in a diverse portfolio of development and infrastructure projectsA collaborative friendly culture with a focus on sustainability and technical qualityIf you are interested in this Flood Risk Consultant please email or call 0Required Experience:Contract Key Skills Access Control System,B2C,Business Analysis,Data Structures,Affiliate Marketing,Loans Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 32000 - 36000
