About the Role

As a General Manager, you’ll oversee operations, ensure resident satisfaction, and drive performance across the property. Reporting to the Area Manager, you’ll combine operational excellence with a people-first approach to create an outstanding living environment for residents and a fantastic workplace for your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Unforgettable Experiences: Build a safe, inclusive, and vibrant community where residents thrive and rave about their time with us.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure health and safety compliance, oversee day-to-day operations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive occupancy, explore new income opportunities, and collaborate with marketing and operations teams to meet and exceed targets.
  • Inspire Your Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that loves where they work and reflects our values.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with university partners, local organizations, and support functions to enhance the property’s reputation and performance.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience in managing teams in hospitality, PBSA, or similar environments.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgets, forecasts, and P&L management.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for exceeding expectations.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and connect with diverse stakeholders.
