They are now looking for a Children's Therapy Admin Assistant to join them on a part-time basis, working 26 hours per week for a fixed term contract until March 2025.

The Role

As a Children's Therapy Admin Assistant, you will support our client’s therapy team in providing specialist therapy services to babies and children aged 0-5 with Cerebral Palsy and similar neuro-developmental conditions.

Delivering therapy programmes, you will set up and use specialist equipment and assist in clinics and group sessions to help children reach their full potential and actively participate in everyday activities.

You will work independently to deliver therapeutic treatments under the guidance of qualified therapists, manage your own caseload and identify when a child's programme needs review.

Additionally, you will:

- Order and set up therapeutic equipment
- Organise and run group sessions and specialist clinics
- Manage the equipment library, including annual servicing and tracking loan equipment
- Provide supervision and line management to the therapy assistant team and volunteers
- Undertake clerical and general departmental tasks

Please note, due to our client’s open and collaborative working environment and the nature of their work with children and adults with disabilities, all office-based roles can experience periods of elevated noise levels and some elements of disruption.

About You

To be considered as a Children's Therapy Admin Assistant, you will need:

- Experience working with children with physical disabilities
- Basic knowledge of typical child development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A good level of IT literacy
- A full, valid driving licence
