Prime Financial Services Margin Analyst

DescriptionAre you experienced within the financial industry and have strong communication skills Then you found the right position for youAs an Prime Financial Services Margin Analyst within the Prime Brokerage Margin team you will be exposed to day-to-day operational and client-facing functions including firm and regulatory risk monitoring review and approval of collateral movements plus maintaining equity levels on margin loans. These functions are inclusive of providing first-class client service to our Prime Brokerage/Hedge Fund clients and internal stakeholders.Job responsibilitiesEnforce firm and regulatory policies with respect to securities brokerage accountsReview and approve daily requests for collateral withdrawalsReview various exceptions in a timely manner and follow an appropriate course of action for their resolutionExecute flawlessly departmental policies and control proceduresMaintain effective working relationships with internal support departments and external clients of JP Morgan Prime BrokerageLiaise with clients in regards to margin call funding and disputes working as intermediary between client and risk to negotiate reductions or corrections to margin ratesCoding and running prospect client portfolios as directed by riskCoordinating solutions for clients leveraging multiple internal teams not limited to PBMO Corporate Actions Swap F&O OTC FX Pricing Risk Credit Repo and Client ServiceMaintain a broad knowledge of the securities industry and events impacting marketsCreate both strategic and tactical controlled solutions to challenges through clear demand specification UAT to final production releaseRequired qualifications capabilities and skillsExcellent verbal mathematical and written communication skillsCompetent in MS Office applicationsAble to work collaboratively as a team to ensure deadlines client expectations and accuracy standards are maintainedHighly motivated with a proactive approach to learning and taking on new challengePreferred qualifications capabilities and skillsFinancial industry or client service related experience preferredExperience with Alteryx and TableauRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Electro Mechanical,Instrument Maintenance,Adobe Dreamweaver,Document Control Management,E-Commerce Employment Type : Full-Time Department / Functional Area: Operations Experience: years Vacancy: 1
