innovation is seeking a talented Associate to join their highly regarded Transactional Real Estate team in Leeds.With new and exciting client mandates this high performing Transactional Real Estate team is looking for a 1 year PQE lawyer to join their expanding Leeds practice.You will act for a number of FTSE 100 and significant local clients supporting a variety and full range of real estate work including the sale and purchase of substantial investment property and large-scale portfolios investment and property management and acting for national developers and occupiers throughout a range of sectors.The firm provides first-class technical insight and training and is looking for an enthusiastic team member who wants to build their long-term career with them and become a well-rounded lawyer providing quality commercial advice for clients.The RoleAs an Associate in the Transactional Real Estate team you will work as a member of some of the firms principal client account teams on a variety of market-leading deals across a wide spectrum of commercial property work.You will compete with market-leading real estate teams pitching for the work you will be carrying out and negotiating against these firms on the transactions you work on.You will act for some of the foremost investors developers and occupiers working on high-profile matters for major national and international clients across multiple sectors.Your key responsibilities will include:Transactional Work:Supporting the sale and purchase of substantial investment property and large-scale portfoliosAdvising on investment and property management mattersActing for national developers and occupiers throughout a range of sectorsWorking on landlord and tenant mattersAdvising on property management issuesSupporting sales and purchases transactionsAssisting with development and regeneration projectsProviding corporate support on real estate aspects of transactionsClient Relationship Management:Working closely with existing clients to maintain and develop relationshipsActing as a trusted adviser capable of providing timely and quality advice whilst managing expectationsEngaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levelsUnderstanding clients their drivers and what matters to themProviding advice with quality imagination and impactTeam Collaboration:Working collaboratively as part of a cohesive team to execute large-scale high-value client matters to the highest standardTaking a leading role on some matters (early levels of responsibility within a supportive environment)Supporting senior lawyers on complex transactionsContributing to the teams success and reputationProfessional Development:Engaging with formal training programmes (whether technical or skills based)Drawing on mentoring coaching and leadership programmes availableContinuous development and learningBuilding your skills as a well-rounded lawyerKey Responsibilities:Drafting clear and legally effective documents which reflect the clients instructionsMaintaining efficient diary and task management across a range of mattersEnsuring the accuracy and levels of client service expected within a high performing teamAdopting a consultative and thorough approach to tasksRemaining calm and optimistic in time sensitive situations or under pressureFinding solutions to clients legal challenges and requirementsAbout YouEssential Requirements:Qualified Solicitor in England and WalesAt least 1 years PQE within commercial real estateStrong technical knowledge of commercial property lawExperience with commercial real estate transactionsUnderstanding of landlord and tenant lawGood drafting skills with ability to produce clear and legally effective documentsExperience engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levelsAbility to adopt a consultative and thorough approach to tasksEfficient diary and task management skills across a range of mattersAbility to maintain the accuracy and levels of client service expected within a high performing teamAbility to remain calm and optimistic in time sensitive situations or under pressureEnthusiasm resilience
