PROCUREMENT ADMINISTRATOR (INDIRECTS)7 MONTHS FTCSANDIACRE NG10 5AN (ONSITE)COMPETITIVE SALARY Progress Rail is looking to recruit a Procurement Administrator to deliver added value (cost savings efficiencies) performance and quality improvements reduce risks with material supply and support related corporate goals through our external supply chain. The successful candidate will assist with purchasing goods and services that support the operations of the business but are not directly included in the products or services sold. This can include office supplies maintenance services software and anything else needed for the day to day operations of the business. The role of the procurement support is to manage expenses and ensure the efficient operation of the business without directly affecting the production process.THE ROLE:As a Procurement Administrator you will be required to:Review and support with the current setup of our Coupa system and working with the Indirect Lead to deep dive and determine best practice for the system to work with us and internal stakeholders raising ordersPurchase of indirect products and services in support of business operationsReview indirect spend and requisitions ensuring application of procurement processesSupport the setting up of the new contract management system (Avetta) for all site contractorsAssist with updating our approved supplier systemLiaise with suppliers for required documentation and certificationSupport the finance team with any invoice queriesCreate and manage a live on hire report of all plant machinery tooling etc we have on hire at all our sites to control spendAssist with setting up the approved supplier system with supplier scope of supply to provide a robust user friendly supplier system for all stakeholdersContinually strive to reduce the costs within the processEscalate supply issues (internal or external) to Team LeadEnsure compliance with HSE policies and proceduresTHE CANDIDATE:The ideal Procurement Administrator:MRP/ERP experience (beneficial)Competent IT skills Excel VLOOKUPS etcStrong numeracy and literacy skillsExcellent attention to detailPrevious experience working with suppliersHighly motivated able to work as part of a team as well as the initiative to work alone as and when requiredEffective time management able to work within tight timescales in line with production requirements/needsFlexibility to move between sites if required BENEFITS:33 days holiday per annum pro rata (inclusive of bank/public holidays)Company pension scheme with 7% employer contributionAs a member of the Group Personal Pension Plan employee covered by the Company funded life assurance for 3½ times salaryAccess to employee discounts hubDiscounted healthcare cash planAccess to 24/7 free Employee Assistance programmeVarious employee recognition schemes ABOUT PROGRESS RAIL:Progress Rail a Caterpillar company is one of the largest integrated and diversified providers of rolling stock and infrastructure solutions and technologies for the global rail industry.
