What you’ll do:
- Develop new features and functionality on internal and external systems
- Provide support and assist with issue resolution of existing code
- Leverage security and best practices when writing code
- Delivering and supporting the implementation of projects
- Build strong relationships with their peers as well as relevant business stakeholders both in Boots and Boots Digital Health
What You’ll Bring:
Experience in LAMP Stack Development:
- Proficient in PHP, both procedural and OOP.
- Skilled with PHP frameworks such as Slim, Lumen, and Laravel.
- Proficient in PHPUnit.
- Familiar with PSR standards.
- Strong MySQL and SQL skills.
- Good Git skills.
Front-End Development:
- Experience with Angular.
Testing and Best Practices:
- Understand the importance of testing and can write own tests.
- Knowledge of securing APIs using industry best practices.
- Adherence to coding standards.
API Integration:
- Experience consuming 3rd party RESTful and non-RESTful APIs.
Project Management:
- Ability to manage own deadlines and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Goal-oriented and seeks opportunities to take on more responsibilities.
- Strong team player with a WIT (Whatever It Takes) attitude.
Desirable:
- Experience with AWS and Docker.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry.
