What you’ll do:

  • Develop new features and functionality on internal and external systems
  • Provide support and assist with issue resolution of existing code
  • Leverage security and best practices when writing code
  • Delivering and supporting the implementation of projects
  • Build strong relationships with their peers as well as relevant business stakeholders both in Boots and Boots Digital Health

What You’ll Bring:

Experience in LAMP Stack Development:

  • Proficient in PHP, both procedural and OOP.
  • Skilled with PHP frameworks such as Slim, Lumen, and Laravel.
  • Proficient in PHPUnit.
  • Familiar with PSR standards.
  • Strong MySQL and SQL skills.
  • Good Git skills.

Front-End Development:

  • Experience with Angular.

Testing and Best Practices:

  • Understand the importance of testing and can write own tests.
  • Knowledge of securing APIs using industry best practices.
  • Adherence to coding standards.

API Integration:

  • Experience consuming 3rd party RESTful and non-RESTful APIs.

Project Management:

  • Ability to manage own deadlines and escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Goal-oriented and seeks opportunities to take on more responsibilities.
  • Strong team player with a WIT (Whatever It Takes) attitude.

Desirable:

  • Experience with AWS and Docker.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry.
