Principal Architect - FinTech/Banking

As a Principal Architect, we are looking for someone who is prepared to speak to stakeholders of all levels, take ownership of products & projects, be involved in High-Level Systems Architecture decisions as well as the gritty, low-level designs. We need someone who sees the bigger picture, how decisions impact the whole of the systems architecture.


Principal Architect Experience:

  • A doer, someone who understands trade-offs in order to get things done
  • You possess experience in building high-performance/highly scalable, and resilient systems
  • Experience of event driven architectures, microservices, modern technologies etc
  • Proven experience of taking ownership of projects
  • Someone not afraid to push back, confident when discussing technical decisions
  • Development Background is very desirable (they use Java/Kafka/Kotlin/React/Microservices etc)
  • Passionate about positively impacting the banking sectors
  • Financial Services at operational levels / Banking exposure / FinTech exposure


You might have the title of Principal Architect / Principal Engineer / Staff Engineer / Lead Architect / Technical Architect / Solutions Architect / VP of Engineering / CTO / Chief Technology Officer.
