Graphic Designer

An experienced Graphic Designer & Content Creator is needed to join our team at BlueSky, a leading provider of packaging solutions based in Grimsby, on a full-time, hybrid working basis. Previous experience in both graphic design and content creation is essential.

About the Role

The Graphic Designer and Content Creator is responsible for providing an in-house creative artwork and content generation service for external and internal communications and marketing activities. They will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of agreed department strategy, 90-day goals (Rocks), KPI's and metrics
• Responsibility and accountability to undertake any of the roles and tasks associated with the Graphic Design and Content Creation function of the Company
• Create and promote compelling content, ensuring brand consistency for web and social media platforms, with a particular focus on LinkedIn
• Creating and driving marketing automation emails to agreed prospects and existing customer groups, generating leads for the Business Development team to qualify
• Manage the BlueSky brand guidelines and ensure all work produced adheres to them and is consistent in approach and identity
• Projects include Emailers, LinkedIn posts, Campaign assets, Videos (particularly for social media use), Flyers and leaflets, Publications, Event invites and assets, Event and stand designs, Award submissions, Internal communications assets, Training assets, and Presentations
• Maintenance of and adherence to all systems and processes associated with the role
• Maintenance and upkeep of all plant and equipment used in the role
• Any other ad hoc responsibilities that arise that are directly related to managing the above departments/functions.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
• Previous experience in graphic design and content creation is essential
• Experience in creative design and execution in a similar environment
• Knowledge of key design software InDesign, Canva, Adobe, etc
• Use of Mailchimp for email delivery
