**Job Purpose**:
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, with a strong focus on digital promotion (social media, web) and events management, to target prospective students.
- This role will require an active involvement in different curriculum areas, collaborating with department heads and leading on event management.
- You will be focussed geographically, either North Bank (Scarborough and East Riding College) or South Bank (Grimsby and Skegness) and must be prepared to be agile across the locations. You will also contribute to marketing activities across other parts of the Group as required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute social media marketing plans to enhance the TEC Partnership’s online presence.
- Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms.
- Monitor social media channels, engage with followers and respond to enquiries promptly.
- Lead on analysis of social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

Collaboration with curriculum areas
- Gather content on a regular basis to showcase the programmes of study and benefits of studying with us - irrespective of the level.
- Collaborate with curriculum areas to understand their unique offer, their needs and targets to create tailored campaigns.

Content creation
- Develop / produce creative content, including but not limited to blog posts, videos, graphics and photographs to support marketing campaigns.
- Ensure content aligns with the TEC Partnership’s branding and messaging.
- Edit and proofread marketing material for accuracy and consistency.

Events management
- Support in the planning and delivery of a wide range of Partnership events, these include open events, information evenings, taster sessions, stakeholder events, annual graduation ceremonies.
- Lead on booking staff and facilities for these events.
- Planning promotion to reach target audience.
- Administration of data capture and collection adhering to GDPR compliance.

Market research
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in marketing strategies.
- Assist in managing the marketing budget to ensure activities are monitored and are achieving ROI as planned.

**Specific Duties**:

- Plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of publicity materials.
- Devise marketing campaigns.
- Support the delivery of a calendar of marketing events, such as dinners, promotions, exhibitions, product launches, workshops, open days or fundraising activities. Represent the company at internal and external events.
- Undertake market research and establish the best way to reach target groups.
- Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels.
- Oversee and update the website(s).
- Coordinate with outside agencies, for example designers, to produce marketing material such booklets, flyers and branded goods.
- Analyse the impact of marketing campaigns and prepare measurement reports.
- Write press releases and communicate with the media.

The post holder is required to ensure that the areas under their responsibility achieve budget on a monthly/ annual basis. The post holder will be required to observe and comply with the financial regulations of the Partnership at all times.

**Continuing Professional Development**:
The post holder will proactively take part in the Partnership Appraisal (PDR) process and will appraise any staff they are responsible for.

The post holder must undertake all training deemed mandatory by the Partnership (e.g.

Safeguarding, Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety) and will be expected to attend all other relevant training and continuous professional development events. They are responsible for their own professional updating.

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year
