Graduate Structural EngineerLincolnshireRef MR400Salary up to £30,0000 + BenefitsI am seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join a successful design consultancy based in a new office in Lincoln. This position will be a mix of site inspections and office-based design work following site inspections.The main areas of work are height safety systems (lifelines) that are fixed to buildings to stop users from falling from height, typically installed in heavy industry such as steelworks, power plants and docks. Our client installs new systems following structural design - The design typically involves new steelwork from existing structures, designing new brackets and support structures and assessing the existing structures are capable of taking the loads involved. We also inspect the lifeline systems that have been fitted over the last 25 years at various sites.Another element of the work involves working on the renovation and repair of funicular railways and complex Victorian era structures.This Graduate Structural Engineer role will involve elements of site inspection, office based design work and calculations along with producing CAD drawings in line with the site measurement and design calculations for the works required.The role will be based just outside of Lincoln with travel around the UK expected as part of the role, they would look to provide suitable transport as required.For this graduate Structural Engineer role you will be offered;Early finished on a FridayCompetitive salary30pm finish daily25 days leave + bank holidays4% pensionA small van or car can be provided if neededFull training and PPE provided on the jobTo discuss this Graduate Structural Engineer role please call MIKAELA on (phone number removed) or email your CV to
