Plants Breeding Team Leader West Midlands Career Progression The Job: A leading horticultural business in Shropshire is seeking a practical and organised Plants Breeding Team Leader to manage daily operations within the breeding department. You will oversee a small team ensuring high standards in plant care propagation and data accuracy throughout the breeding cycle. Key Responsibilities:- Lead and coordinate daily workloads across the breeding team-Oversee controlled pollinations propagation germination and trial evaluations-Maintain accurate breeding and plant performance records-Monitor glasshouse and field environments ensuring biosecurity and IPM compliance-Operate horticultural machinery and spraying equipment safely and efficiently-Support and train team members promoting high performance and teamwork-Collaborate with management on planning resource allocation and workflow optimisation-Uphold strict health safety and biosecurity standardsThe Company: An established and innovative horticultural business with a strong focus on plant development and sustainable growing practices.
