We have developed our role and reputation as a key player in shaping the current and future provision of physical activity and sport across the county and work with a wide range of partners including local authorities the health sector charitable/voluntary organisations and third sector organisations to support people in Suffolk to lead healthy active lives.Your role:This role provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to take on this newly created position as a Place-based Development Officer for Children and Young People.You will be working with a broad range of partners and sectors in the Mid Suffolk locality to support the implementation of the Sport England Place-based approach developing and enhancing the Sport & Physical activity infrastructure workforce and wider community health & wellbeing outcomes.In addition you will specifically ensure effective collaborative partnership working developing key relationships between partner organisations education settings and the local community in a whole systems place based approach to support the Health & Wellbeing of local communities in the Mid-Suffolk area.The role is funded by Sport Englands Place Universal Offer and is in partnership with key local organisations including Mid Suffolk Council Suffolk County Council Public Health & Communities and Active Suffolk.Active Suffolks core principles and values:We have Integrity:We commit to make decisions aligned to our organisational aims values and principles.
